Net & Mat

Purchased the spg-7 and Mat. The Mat is superb. Good build quality and easy to roll up and store when not in use. Will take a beating and is just like you’d find at the range. The net is also great. Super easy to put up and take down again and doesn’t take up much room in the shed. Only complaint would be that it leans quite a bit to one side, which is a bit annoying. You can fix it by doing some bending but it’s usually a temporary fix. All in all though, great products and they arrived really quickly. Thanks very much!

Excellent Spornia Net and Mat

Excellent support on the purchase by the company. Emails and phones calls were responded to very quickly. Both the net and mat are really good quality. The net is surprisingly robust, it erects easily and after one or two tries we now also put it down easily too! We are really pleased with our purchase.

Spornia SPG 7 practice net and commercial mat

I have had this net and mat for over 2 weeks. The package was delivered as promised and set up outside easily. It will be a permanent feature so will be interesting to see how long it lasts, particularly as it appears to be a susceptible to wind. The net appears to be well made and does what it says on the tin, in that it catches balls and returns them to your feet. The mat is well made and after hitting several balls a day does not feel to have had any adverse effect on my joints, which is a bonus. You do develop a feel of where the ball is going and how well it has been hit but the experience is enhanced by using a launch monitor. All in all great so far.

We'd always recommend taking the net down if the weather is getting wild but it is pretty hardy and can withstand some time outside. If you're finding the wind is catching it, sandbags work really well to weigh it down.

What is the difference between the SPG-8, SPG-7 and SPG-5?

The only difference between each is the size. The SPG-8 is 8 feet x 8 feet (2.4m x 2.4m), perfect for a simulator set-up. The SPG-7, our most popular net, is 7 feet x 7 feet (2m x 2m) and the SPG-5 is 5 feet x 5 feet, ideal for smaller areas such as an apartment or balcony.

Is it difficult to set up and take down?

No, with Spornia's pop up technology you can set your net up and take it down in seconds. This is one of the main reasons people love the Spornia nets. They’re portable, you don’t need a dedicated area so you can use your net anywhere, anytime!

Will the nets take Driver?

Yes, the nets can take any club including Driver. The nets are designed to take a beating, they will hold up to even the most rigorous of practice sessions. You will have the confidence to hit thousands of balls.

Pro Long Drivers such as World Long Driver and St Andrew's based James Tait (472 yards), Australasian Long Drive Champion Steffan Scutti (403yds) and World Long Drive competitor Matt Nicholls (434yds) use Spornia nets for practice.

What if I shank the ball?

We all have the occasional shanks but we stock side extension nets which increases the size of the hitting area and adds more safety to manage this.
